I don’t think Minnesota ends up a top 4 team but they haven’t lost and has beaten a ranked team. I think it should be:
LSU
Ohio State
Clemson
Minnesota
Baylor
I don’t think it will stay that way but that’s what I believe it should be.
Baylor hasn’t faltered yet but get the chance to prove themselves to finish it out. Same as all four of those teams. That’s just my opinion.

The committee certainly sees the value in Bama because LSU's win propelled them to the #1 spot.
SOS isn’t the final authority on team quality. Take a look at Clemson, they've won 2 National Titles after playing an ACC schedule with OOC wins against Auburn and Texas A&M. SOS is only a small part of evaluating how good a team is.

IMO, they’ll get in if they win out. Just like 2011, they’ll get in because I think most non-biased people will view them as one of the four best teams (obviously two in 2011).

I understand that. I just have a different opinion on who I think should be top 5 right now and about a Bama. But I’m not in the committee and my opinion means nothing.
LSU may lose the next 3 games and Bama runs the table, wins the SEC Title and wins it all. I’m just going on what I think at this point in the season.

Yes. And it’s no disrespect to Bama. They ARE one of the four best teams, but IMO if you use the “eye test” they’d still be one of the 4 best teams even with a second or third loss. I would value a conference championship over the “eye test,” but I’m not on the committee.
