Bama insiders, how much longer until Saban rides off into the crimson sunset?

I bleed purple and gold. I think if most Tiger fans or any rival fans in general were honest, they’d admit they’re a little Gump envious if not a lot. I don’t hate Bama. It’s more of an annoyed respect. Bryant Denny is my favorite rival away game to go to. With that said, I don’t want Saban going anywhere. NCAA football is already changing for the worst as it is. The magic and passion is slowly dying a slow death, and it will soon become more of just a mini NFL. I just feel when Saban leaves, it’s gonna be the nail in the coffin of the greatest era ever as a whole in college football. So with all that said, how much time do we really have left with him? Any credible sauces?

No idea, but if I had to guess - 4-5 more years and then he will hang it up.

Yes, I can answer that. He said about 5 more bayou azz kickings in Baton Rouge should do it.

I heard from some sweet baby rays that it won't be until he's 90.

Seeing as how we have a thread longer than my dick, saying he can't recruit worth a shite anymore. Probably next week.

NIL will probably make him retire a little sooner - the game is completely changing

If you bleed P&G, why do you care about Saban?

I think he’s done after this season…. Then again everyone not a bama fan says that every year lol

I think cfb gets too stupid for Nick and he bails in the next 3 years. His legacy is secure, He will probably win another one this year, time catches up to everyone , he could name his price with ESPN, and cfb is dumbing itself down. Seems like a good time to switch gears. I wouldn’t be shocked if he quit if he won one this year. Surprised but not shocked.

Yea. His track record of adapting to change and capitalizing on it is horrendous. He probably doesn’t make it through this season.

He needs like 53 or 54 wins to break Bryants 323. He needs one more national title at Bama to break Bryants title record at Bama. Nothing happens until then.
I could see him going until about 80 years old. Football is his life, mission and calling, like it or not it's what keeps his blood flowing and he really cares about nothing else.

Probably starts getting tougher when you reach 70

This ^^^^^
and remember this number 10
Coach Wooden at UCLA won 10 NC there, I think Coach Saban would like to tie or break that record. Coach Saban has 7 right now.

Dont insult everybody's intelligence. You guys have opined, bitched about schedules, followed every step or misstep at Bama, compare all LSU things to Bama and tell this hilarious story of how Saban begged to get the LSU job back that he could have had 10 times over had he wanted it.
Lest we forget the march and burning in effigy of Saban after he took the Bama job. You think of Saban all the time.
The Bama LSU game was never a thing until Saban came to Bama. Now, its EASILY LSU's game of the year. It was never that way before, even during the Bryant years, it wasn't much talked about. Ole Miss was your game of the year.

To be honest then, like now, LSU has very little chance to beat Alabama so it was best for them to focus elsewhere.
