And was smashed by Clemson in year prior’s natty.

What does defense need to do to get back in championship form.

Not be hurt all the time. The amount of injuries that Bama has had on defense over the past two years has been ridiculous

The points to Auburn is what gets to me. LSU was a historically good offense and Clemson is good too. Auburn and Bo Nix is the head scratcher. Bama should've won that game IMO if not for some pick 6's.

Pretty sure you've given up more than your average on d the last two times we've played.

I thought Saban was the defensive guru.

I guess he’ll have to focus on rule changes because this shite is just Unfair

Find some fool dumb enough to hire our strength coach who is causing all those injuries would be a nice start.

Stop reading their press clippings and stop playing to not get injured to assist with their draft stock, early in Saban's tenure at Bama their Defenses flew around the Field like no other Defense in the Country, but since they started bragging about all the Tide Players getting drafted, it seems that's all they care about, the NFL Draft, not so much winning or playing good Team Defense

I don’t see how looking at press clippings has anything to do with injuries.

Now that Cochran's gone, we won't have as many injuries.

Could also have something to do with how offenses have evolved since then...

Stop getting injured. Pretty simple, Bama can't keep losing 4-7 starters or key players on defense every year.

Has happened every year since 2016. Cost Bama at least one national title, maybe two.

Changes in the strength and conditioning program will help this problem.

In the calendar year 2019 Alabama only faced three ranked opponents. They allowed 44,46, & 48 points.

Why? Auburn has been standing toe-to-toe with Bama, unlike the rest of you.

I realize this is a weak troll, but if you legitimately can't understand how a defense could struggle by playing guys who are not physically or mentally ready to not only play, but also run a complicated defensive scheme on the fly, then I don't know what to tell you.

Pure athletic ability is able to cover up a lot, but against elite teams and coordinators (like LSU last year), these things can certainly be exploited.

And Saban is a defensive guru, hence LSU scoring zero points in the third quarter despite said deficiencies, after some halftime adjustments.

14 points in that game were scored by Auburn's defense.
