Bama fans: why do you think Tua will just win the Heisman next year?

Dude had an incredible season. Schools rarely put together back to back seasons of such caliber. But this year was helped by several schools with first year coaches on the schedule; those teams will be improved next year. Also, how many of those star wideouts does Bama lose?

Bottom line: the odds of another Heisman campaign are low. Accept it and maybe root for your QB to get it now while there is a realistic chance.

They're all back, along with most of the offensive line, 2 (maybe 3) of the 4-back rotation, and potentially the TE. Tua going scorched earth in 2019.

Who, besides Jimbo and Moorhead was new? And why does this matter?

Edit: forgot Pruitt. But still not seeing the relevance.

Ahhh, these are always my favorites. The classic "why aren't you Bama fans melting?," melt.

I don't think that folks realize that most Tide fans are concerned with how the TEAM finishes, not an individual's success. Sure, it'd be nice to see Tua win the Heisman, but the Nat'l Championship award is the only real award we're after.

If any program could do it, I would bet the one that makes the playoffs every single year could.

Are you fricking serious, Clark?

Also, Pruitt and Luke was first year not interim.

Honestly I think Tua may still win it. The voters know that he was injured for the SECCG, know that he did not play for most of the 4th quarters during the year (or his numbers would be off the charts), and has outstanding numbers (I think he threw 4 interceptions the entire year)

Truth. I don't particularly care for the solo awards

I also forgot Morris. But no, I'm not real worried about him or Luke creating defensive juggernauts next year.

Alabama's first SIX WRs consist of 4-Sophs and 2-Frosh...you really didn't think much about this thread before you posted it, did you?

If he doesn't win this year, he probably won't win next year either.
