I've really enjoyed watching him over the past few years and thought he might have been the most complete receiver y'all have ever had. Looked like an NFL receiver playing college ball. But seems like he's been a non factor late in the season, while others like Smith have stepped up. Even dropped an easy pass over the middle last night. What's the deal? Has he been fighting an injury that hasn't been talked about?

As a side note, Jaylen Waddle is like the created player you make on NCAA, where you bump speed, acceleration, and agility up to 99 and watch him go. Unbelievable how easily he runs by people.

Couldn't tell you. Don't know if teams starting trying to take him away, he got frustrated, draft stuff, just a bad stretch or what.

Yea, Waddle is special. Hard to get mad that he didn't contribute more considering the other 3 and what we did, but if he is even with guys on the back end then he is scoring a touchdown. Really glad we'll get him back next year.

Ruggs, Smith and Waddle didn't seem to be having any issues

Waddle should get a few snaps as a halfback for some sweeps. He is fast as hell and would be one hell of a hard stop on the old fashioned option pitch play.

I said that too. We did some stuff similar to that with him by motioning him across and then quickly reversing back, snapping and throwing him a swing pass.

I'm guessing he has a massive swiss army knife role next year.

Probably protecting himself.

He is going to make a lot of money in the NFL.

Who returns at Wr next year. I truly believe what separated LSU and Bama from the rest n the west outside of our QBs was the talent at Wr. We lose Jefferson to nfl most likely but return Chase & Marshall (Marshall was leading country In TD before injury) Moss most likely because he needs to prove he can be durable. Racy Mcmath would start anywhere n Sec tbis year accept for LSU and Bama. He’s a physical specimen w 4.4 speed. And Trey Palmer has Odell type speed will be a Soph that wins that 4th spot. We also have 3-4 freaks coming in at wr. Brennan is gonna be a RS jr. he finally has the weight on to play in Sec. and his arm is nothing short of Brett Favre material.

Waddle is draft eligible? How good is Baby Tau? Moses (?) coming back?

Teddy Bridgewater, while completely competent, doesn't make the same throws as Drew Brees.

Teddy was less confident & hesitant in throwing into "smaller windows/tighter coverage", even though Brees sees those same windows & coverages as wide open.

It's a subtle confidence-in-abilty thing with Mac. "Bracket coverage on Jeudy? I'm going the safer route with Waddle in single coverage. Ahhh, that works. I'll keep doing it."

Tua could zip the ball accurately between bracket coverage "Touchdown, Jeudy. I'll keep doing it".

No, sorry my bad, Waddle is for sure back. He's only a sophomore.

Baby Tua is talented, but I'm not sure he'll beat out Mac and Bryce Young will take the job whenever he gets up to speed.

No clue on Moses.

Ok, I see what you meant now. Yea I agree with that. Jeudy and Tua had a great connection and their styles matched very well.

I can see the difference where starting Qb’s practice and play with starting WR’s whereas 2nd string Qb’s practice with back up WR’s...etc.... the connection between Tua and Jeudy and Jones and Jeudy was noticeable...of course I agree also that Jeudy might have been playing not to get hurt especially seeing what happened to Tua beings he is NFL bound.... just a shame what happened to Tua...

I would give him reps in the option game. He would be a hell of a pitch guy in the old school Nebraska option game. Once he turns the corner he gets a first down every time. I would make sure he got 5-8 carries a game either on the option or just the pitch on a sweep play.

Tua is better at distributing the ball. Everyone was catching passes.

Mac made some good throws, but just doesn’t have the arm talent to run the same route trees, so you didn’t see a lot of passes that are timing throws Jeudy excels at.

He will make a great pro
