Over the last 12+ hours we’ve gotten a masterclass foreshadow into what Bama will look like post Nick. Meltdowns left and right even after this historically dominate stretch of winning. What’s going to happen when Saban is gone and new head coach goes 9-4 in his first season?

“Saban is an average coach but also Bama will go 7-5 every year when he’s gone”

What is the deal with the SEC Rant’s obsession with trying to manufacture a melt everytime Bama loses? Most Bama fans have had a reasonable take, are proud of this team who probably over accomplished, and are excited about next season.
Not seeing the melt, but this happens every single time….

The LSU victory melt has been odd.
Alabama fans haven’t been that bad.

Are you new here?
In short, Bama football is all we have in our lives, and ANY Bama sports loss is apparently all some others have in their lives
I thought it was a great game. Losses happen. Uga is a great team. Well deserved. Happy for Smart, Bennett, and all of their fans.

Link?
I’ve seen one guy - who registered in mid December and is clearly an alter - start multiple threads, and for the most part everyone else has been pretty chill.
There’s not a single Bama fan here that expected Bama to be playing for a national championship after the last quarter of the regular season. This is one of the least experienced Bama teams Saban has ever coached, and they played out of their minds.
We are proud.

Twisting brain matter into pretzel shapes due to poor logic probably explains a lot of the posting on here.

I've watched cfb for a lot of decades. Usually a loaded roster buys you 2 years even with a shitty coach. Year 3 tells the tale. From 1983-2008 Bama was basically, with the exception of one glorious Stallings year, just another average to good program and they were surly as F. UF, Tennessee and then LSU dominated the league and got the accolades and attention. When it happens post-Nick, because their fanbase has achieved MAXIMUM entitlement, it will be a shitshow of catastrophe-syndrome and lost love. Sure they can get lucky and hire the next big deal, but the odds are heavily stacked against it .

The fanbase will have zero patience. The new HC there will have a very difficult task.

From 1983-2008 (25 seasons)
- 1 National Title
- 3 SEC Titles
- 3 Top 5 finishes
- 8 Top 10 finishes
- 15 Top 25 finishes
- 20 bowl games
From 1983-1999 (17 seasons)
- 1 National Title
- 3 SEC Titles
- 3 Top 5 finishes
- 7 Top 10 finishes
- 12 Top 25 finishes
- 14 bowl games
What you really mean is from 1997-2007 Alabama was an average program.

Bama was 12-8-1 against the mighty tiguhs during that span, not too bad for an average program.
