This is great, but did you go to Alabama or otherwise have ties to the school? You have to admit that this is a little weird.

Yes. I admit that it's weird and doesn't make sense. But, I began following Bama when I was 12 with influence from an uncle that's from Alabama. Never really had an LSU influence. My dad is from FL and is an FSU fan.
If I wasn't raised by a single mother in a low income household I would've definitely tried to find my way to Tuscaloosa. But, I was instead educated in the LSU system.
If not for a little influence 25 years ago, I know I would've ended up an LSU fan.
Glad that didn't happen.
