Watched this earlier, and was amazed at just how fast he reacts to things (watch the clip of the play he made on Cooper Kupp in the Rams-Steelers game).
I knew he played a lot of CB at Bama, but didn't know if he ever played safety.
He basically changed the way the Steelers play defense this year, and is one of the biggest reasons they have turned their season around

All I know is Minkah will become a legendary coach one day. He may takeover from Tomlin.
Hes a film monster and a true professional.

I have the Steelers Defense in Fantasy this year and I think Minkah Fitzpatrick has contributed to 80% of their points.

He did. He did whatever we needed him to.

He played just about everywhere at Alabama in the secondary

Seemed liked he gravitated more to slot corner and nickleback. Both take elite quickness and ability to read plays and even call plays like a safety.
He played safety as well, but less often. But, he played it well.
I dont recall him playing much outside CB.
But, he is likely the best, most versatile defensive player of the Saban era. High football IQ, great team player, and a multipurpose tool anywhere in the secondary
