Bama fans: At what point do you decide to politely ask Saban to step down?

I know it's probably not anytime soon, and he may retire on his own at the top.
But what records and how many seasons at those records does this happen?
Does he get a leash like Paterno and Bowden got? Mediocre seasons, but he's earned the right to coach as long as he'd like, or two-three 8-4 type and he's shown the door?
***Fisher at FSU made me think of this.

Is the swamp water or the recycled grease tainting the corn dogs that makes you retarded?

Saban still has to go to Texas

As long as the team has double digit wins every year I am happy. Throw in a SEC championship and natty every now and then and that's icing on the cake.

You don’t. That’s part of the deal. Coaches like Bryant, Bowden, Saban, Snyder earn the right to decide when to leave. They usually stay too long after the decline begins but that’s the price you pay for legends.

I don't know. I mean 11-1 is really troubling.

Sounds reasonable. Doesn't look like that'll happen in the next few years, so when it does happen it'll probably be time for him to step down anyway.

They want Hurts head first.
I am not a finebaum fan at all. Have stated it numerous times. I recorded it yesterday because I wanted to hear the bama fans reaction. It was mainly UT stuff, but the callers that did get through were ridiculous.......involving their disdain for Hurts.
I am glad I recorded it. I got 4 hours of Laura Rutledge. She is fun to look at and I was impressed with her sports knowledge. I will tune back in on Mondays just for her.

At what point will you decide to get off the dope?
I realize it's silly to respond to troll threads, but what the hell...

It's not a troll. It's an honest question.

I don't think Saban would keep coaching once it became clear he was not at the top of his game. So, I don't think this will be an issue.

You're crazy if you think Saban will ever be asked to step down.
He'll quit if he can't sustain dominating teams like he's become accustomed to, just because there's nowhere else to go once you've been to the top.
When he does leave, he'll go out like the Bear at Bama, on his own terms, and as it should be.

Right answer, and sometimes they don't stick around too long.
Bowden stuck around too long, but Snyder's still winning at a high (by K-State standards) level. Bryant walked away when he felt like he couldn't meet his own standard any more. Prior to that last season, he'd won 4 of the last 5 SEC titles and the worst record in the stretch was 9-2-1.
If I had to guess, Saban will go out like Bryant. One day he's going to wake up and think he isn't getting it done (even if the record doesn't reflect it) and that will be it.

Love this board.
OP asks a legit question that’s actually fascinating only to get blasted by several overly sensitive fans.

He is asking this after we just went 11-1. If we were 9-3 it would make more sense would it not?
