Bama fans- I think your Fun & Gun days are over after this year

Saban flirted with the "big O" mindset. The results, by his standard, aren't there. I think he reverts back to his comfort zone, which in his mind has proven results. I suspect Bama will be a power running, D first team until Saban retires. I suspect he feels that his old model would've proven better vs. Clemson and LSU.

I don't think he has much choice but to stick with this new style. It has, on the margin, mitigated the overwhelming advantage of having dominant line play with tremendous depth. He obviously tried to get the rules changed a few years ago and when that didn't work, he was forced to adapt.

His schtick of we beat ourselves, It’s Tua fault, yata yata yata...

O and his crew of pirates went into Tuscaloosa and bent him and the tide over....and went in dry. Probably Saban’s last year. Then the Sarkisian dynasty will begin...
