Bama absolutely not a final 4 contender, but damn better than 13...

pre bowls. I think pre Citrus game should have been ranked somewhere 7 to 10, but Bama haters took care of business when the Tide down some this year, kicked dirt in our face. Final poll or ranking will us back in top 10 no doubt.

I agree. Final AP poll will do them justice. Solid top 10.

Agreed. I would argue 6th at worst and could defend 4th if push came to shove.

Well...you lost to Auburn who could not even beat a lowly Big 10 team.

Bama was the only team really imo that could play with any of the top 3. Oregon and Wisconsin could on a good day avoid a blowout but doesn’t have the depth to run with the OSU and Clemson’s & LSU for 4q

Not trying to kick Auburn while they are down, but that was a rivalry/fluky win.

1-LSU
2- Clemson
3- Ohio State
4- Georgia
5- Alabama

Alabama beats Georgia with Tua
Georgia wins close game without Tua.

I could live with that. CFP could not. If only UGA had not stumbled against USCe.

Lol. This would be considered a great year at like 90% of schools. Lost to the #1 team by 5. Lost to a rival by 3 and blew everyone else out.

With Tua healthy, Bama can beat any team in the nation. They can get lucky and get enough breaks to compete with anyone. I am not saying the would beat anyone but could. If they would have gotten the onside kick against LSU they could’ve won. If they hit the field goal against Auburn they could’ve won. They would’ve beaten Oklahoma and they could’ve battled it out with Ohio State. I would rank them as number 5 right now.

One thing that bama has done wrong and I think it has cost them their dominance is they went completely away from what made Alabama so dominant.
Alabama USED TO RUN THE BALL down people’s throats and by the fourth quarter every team, no matter how good, would be gashed for 6-8 yards a clip. If Bama can have the lead or be within a score going into the fourth quarter, that beastly running game would crush the souls of opponents. They don’t do that anymore.
In the LSU game, bama came out running the ball and scored their first two possessions. If they would have played that from the beginning, who knows what would’ve happened.

Alabama does not pound the ball like they could and used to do. I’m not saying stop passing or anything close to that but when your front five and your back are all five star beasts and can dominate most defenses, why in the hell would you abandon the rushing attack that has built Alabama into the beast it has been for fifty years? They got too cute and it has cost them.

Yep, only 8 points separated Bama from a 12-0 season. I can live with that considering the ride we have had for the past decade.

Well we all know bama was a top ten team. They moved bama down, and kept all the big 10 teams where they were. I wonder why?

They’ll finish 8-10. Doesn’t mean much except for bragging about a streak of TOP 10s which...doesn’t mean much.

Not exactly like they used to but they still have beasts at RB and use them. Check the last drive vs Michigan. Najee Harris was a bull.

Why do you think they bumped up the Big 10 teams?

Y'all lost to LSU and Auburn. That's not terrible, given the quality of those two teams. Bama should be top 10, no doubt.
