I never said he would take the job or did I? I answered why he and/or the university would have an interest. Nothing more nothing less. In fact I stated Malzahn would be our next HC.

It's called money, my friend. Auburn's boosters are some of the richest in the country. They won't make the same mistake they did in 2008. They'll get the right guy this time.

Just googled it. He was diagnosed with throat cancer in 2011.
