Auburn could potentially play Kansas, North Carolina, and Kentucky in three straight rounds. That's a prestigious run in a tourney even with Kansas on a slight "down" year.

This is true but I think they’re up to the challenge.

Auburn can match UNC tempo better than most.

Don’t think the bright lights will get to this team though. This Auburn team will fight like mad.

I'm torn on this one.

On one hand, I want for the conference to do well, I like Auburn, and I still have a place in my heart for Pearl.

On the other hand, I don't want to ever face that team again, even in the Final Four

Should be one hell of a game. If Auburn's 3's are falling like they were last night, I wouldn't bet against them.

I don't wanna face them again either. They were on fire last night, it was impressive and terrifying to watch and round 3 against them sounds like a bad idea. But watching the SEC take control of basketball, and UNC losing, is too good to pass up

Unfortunately for Auburn, UNC shoots just as well as them, and they are also better than Auburn on defense. UNC edges Auburn in a shootout, getting just enough stops for a 4-5 pt. win.

Here's a very informative 538 graph plotting offensive efficiency versus defensive efficiency. You'll notice UNC and Auburn are similar on the x-axis (offensive efficiency), but UNC is significantly higher than Auburn on the y-axis (defensive efficiency).

This will be the difference in a close, hard-fought game.

As great as last night was, this Auburn team usually takes some time to warm up when playing on a new court. (E.g. brown was only 2-8 from three point land against New Mexico State)

Where we have made our money is turnovers and points in transition which UNC is obviously comfortable with. Seriously I have no idea how you game plan for a team like UNC which doesn't seem to have any weakness.

Auburn's best strategy is keep shooting and hope the team stays hot. Don't even worry about defense too much. Save energy for offense. This game will be a shootout.

Will be very entertaining for those not affiliated with either team.

If that happened we would at least be in the final four. Successful season win or lose.
