Auburn vs. Penn State

Finally, a true test for Auburn. Being the home team, I’m sure the line will be slightly favoring Penn State.
Keys for Auburn this game is to get the run game going, and going early. Penn State has the 94th ranked rushing defense in the NCAA. I expect Penn State will try and prevent Tank, Hunter, and Shivers first and foremost, which should open up play action over the top. Our offensive line is suspect, and this will certainly be the biggest challenge thus far.
Penn State will need to get takeaways like they did against Wisconsin. Their offense isn’t great, so they’ll need to take advantage of the field position game with turnovers.
Happy Valley will certainly be rocking- whiteout, and will be completely sold out with 107k plus in attendance.

Will likely be -6 or -7 Penn State.
Auburn’s capable of winning but it’ll be tough. I think this is our toughest game of the season outside of Georgia/Bama.

Teams in conferences outside the SEC are gunning for us. Expect a lot of hostility from the fans and a great effort put forth by Penn State.

Same. As long as it isn’t an offensive collapse like we saw quite a lot under Malzahn (@ LSU, @UGA, etc..), and we play to our highest level I would be ok. Obviously a win could propel us far higher than many expected for this year. The schedule would set up beautifully after that.

ALWAYS something magical about brand new head coaches in Auburn, AL.
Nobody knows exactly where the magic comes from, but it is there and it’s a real thing.
This defense will keep us in every single game. I’ve always been a huge Derek Mason fan.

I am really looking forward to this game. This should give us a better idea of how good Auburn is this year.
I really don't care for Penn State, so I'll be pulling for Auburn in this one. But, if I have to be honest, I am not going to be TOO upset if Auburn gets beat.

This would be my game plan. Put on a big rush on passing downs and make Nix win the game.
