Seen a couple reporters hint at it. Can't tell if its serious or not

Why not Georgia? That way we can fix the scheduling glitch that happened when we added A&M & Missouri. Have the September 5th game @ Georgia then the October game @ Auburn. Then next season we'll be back to alternating road games with UGA and Bama instead of playing both on the road one year and at home the next.
So in 2020 it'll be: @ UGA, vs UGA, then @ Bama
2021 will be @ UGA then vs Bama then 2022 vs UGA @ Bama and so forth.
This will work if the acc and sec follow the big 10 and Pac 12 doing a conference only schedule.

Everyone gets better as the year wears on. But I think an early game would favor Alabama.
Could go the other way with not having film on Gus tho.
