"A decade earlier Clemson's football program had been recognized for pushing the envelope in facilities initiatives, so much so that Auburn had sent directors to Upstate, South Carolina to take a peek at the Tigers' box suites in Death Valley."

I hope Mark Stoops is smart enough to watch every damn move Nick Saban makes - copy what he thinks he can implement - and ignore all the stuff he can't.

There is nothing wrong, and a lot of things right, with looking at who's having success, and seeing if there's anything there you can use yourself.

would be a bad take to blame it all on him. He threw a perfect deep ball to our freshman RB who didn't catch it. That's a touchdown if he does and Clemson goes up 14-0 and probably wins the game.

Yesterday Clemson was without most of its top WRs other than Ross: Ngata, EJ Williams, and Frank Ladson, and lost a OL to injury.

Auburn’s original name was East Alabama Male College, so I don’t know where you got that idea from.

A Clemson fan should probably know more about Auburn since you all basically cloned our school and football program.

it was a teacher's college even if male. Clemson was a military college.

Thomas Clemson wanted Clemson modelled after Miss State, not Auburn.

Fun Fact - there is an arrangement between Auburn and Kentucky at the vet school. Auburn offers 38 Kentucky kids in-state tuition each year - it's a contracted thing.

Which doesn't imply any superiority or anything - just a neat thing. I'm not sure how the arrangement came to pass.

Clemson took everything else including Auburn's coach and faded old practice jerseys, down to the mascot.
