That is so Auburn. Guy does a great job leading the university but the football program can't run with Alabama and Pearl, a damn good coach who also cheats is nailed again. So let's fire his arse. Lordy.
Calling it now. Malzahn will have a great year this year because Auburn has their every few years loaded defensive line and ridiculously experienced offensive line. So I can hear it already: "we're back since we got rid of the problem in that damn LEACH". Then they'll fall back to 8-4 in 2020. And fire GM.

He was an egomaniac and a narcissist. He tried to micro manage the Athletic Department. Tried to fire Bruce, vetoes the FOC, was a diva about the mansion remodel, had a coronation fit for a king, treated faculty and long term Auburn employees like crap. Not a nice person and a terrible terrible fit for Auburn.
Without discussing with the Board, the Provost, the CFO made an announcement that Auburn would be hiring 500 new faculty in 5 years. That was a huge blunder.

Oh that is a no no right there. Even if you are paying them 30 grand each (dirt cheap for a professor) that is 15 million a year. You better make darn sure everyone is on board before you put that on the University tab.

49 Million, 7 years, 75% guaranteed... So will cost us $26 million to get rid of a coach whose only support was the former Prez and one board member. (this was the worst contract in NCAA history) Leath would not listen to the AD or other board members.
