Y'all are getting a player - I hated to see him leave, but wish him the best of luck

Good luck to him. Great regular season team. Maybe UT will finally beat Auburn

LOL
Imagine your daddy showing up and yanking you out of a program to send you to another program that is owned by the first
Times are weird

What's the reason for him transferring?

Ahh, I see he’s still not over his head injury yet.

Unclear... he transferred a bunch in HS and on his 2nd college program in 6 months... seems to be a pattern with him.

Helicopter dad wanted a UK offer that never came so he settles for the perpetually underperforming Vols.

The speculation that makes the most sense is that its his Father in regards to all these transfers. This will be Powell's fifth school in six years, and I would guess that this is not Powell's idea or doing. The Dad pulled him out of AU and insisted that he didn't want to speak to the coaching staff and explain. There was another rumor that he was going to Indiana before Miller got fired. Who really knows. He seems like a good kid, the Father not so much. He's a really good player if he can stay healthy.

He's from Kentucky. Once again Cal passes on a Kentucky boy. I have a feeling this will come back to haunt him. The young man wanted to come but Cal never offered. now UT has a good player.

Or maybe they just realize Bruce is not long for this league and will be getting pwnt by the NCAA

This is a typo. WildcatMike guaranteed he was going to Kentucky several times.

Instead we landed Grady from Davidson. And Mintz is likely coming back. I don’t think it’s going to be an issue.

You're 41-77 all time vs The underperforming Vols and had to hire their ex coach after he was fired for cheating to find any relevancy for the time in school history. The hypocrisy is alarming
Enjoy the upcoming NCAA ban hammer and watching the end of Pearls career from the front row

There's a lot of sour grapes in this thread.
