It’s one guy, so they’ll need teamwork to have this count, but two arrests in a week is strong competition.

Thanks to an Auburn football player, it’s a two-for-Tuesday on the arrest front. And, to clarify, that’s player in the singular.

According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Jashawn Sheffield was arrested May 9 in Georgia on one count of disorderly conduct. But wait, there’s more. Exactly one week later, the Tigers wide receiver was arrested in the Peach State yet again, this time “DUI Less Safe.”

Both of those charges, incidentally, are misdemeanors.

No details of what led to either arrest have been released. As for the DUI charge? The Advertiser writes that “[i]n the state of Georgia, a ‘DUI Less Safe’ can be charged if a law enforcement officer believes a driver is less safe behind the wheel because of alcohol consumption, even if that person is under a specific blood-alcohol content.”

Man that's some bullshite if you think about it. What's the point of having a legal limit for DUI if you can write a psedo-DUI ticket if they blow a .04

And this WR is a minor, so that means he blew under an .02. Not condoning him drinking, but DUI Less Safe is laughable

ETA: apparently the officer doesn't have to use a breathalyzer to issue the DUI Less Safe charge

I think there is a limit to how many points 1 player can give. I don't know the exact rule on it. They added it after some dude had like 9 or 10 felony charges or some kind of crazy shite like that. It was so much that 1 player alone would have won the entire cup.

But they do have a special award for the single player who gets the most points.

We had one single incident that won the Fulmer for us in 2011. Other than that one incident, we had zero points

That is true Auburn style

Cam Newton getting paid off was worth at least 10 points in 2010.

Only get points for convictions, not allegations

Aww, somebody doesn't understand how the Fulmer Cup works. And a Georgia fan, no less.

They can write you up if you blow a 0.00.

It's the officer's discretion.

A breathalyzer is only there for more evidence.

Need to do away with this one as it's not fair to all participants.

I don't think it's illegal to frick a horse in Alabama.

Nope, all good in Alabama...

Eight states — Hawaii, Kentucky, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Vermont, West Virginia and Wyoming — and the District of Columbia still lack anti-bestiality laws. Some states inadvertently lifted earlier prohibitions on human-animal sex when they were updating their laws to remove sodomy as a crime.

It looks accurate either way.

The story there is the Fulmer cup was run by someone, I forget who, and then they quit doing it. So people on reddit kept it going and took over things. Never seen the website before, but it mentions reddit etc.

The award I was talking about is called the "Ellis T. Jones Award". Found it on that page. He went to San Jose St. That dude had like 15 felony charges or some shite. Tazing people and robbing them, kidnapping people and all the charges stuck. They were still adding on even after they arrested him the first time.

There is also the "Switzer Slam". I had forgotten about it. That only happens when a team wins the Fulmer Cup, a National Championship and a heisman winner in the same year.

I guess.

I just can’t imagine sitting around, thinking, “Let’s name the baby Jashawn!

To each his/her own.
