Suck it, bitches, we are landing UK/NC/Duke-level talent in lil' ol' Auburn. Lottery pick this year and we 'bout to be loaded again!

Because you signed a 3-star center?

Dylan Cardwell was not a take for any SEC school except Vandy. Hell, he wasn’t even a take for AU until Sanogo committed to UConn.

I think he could be very solid in a few years but this is not a UK/UNC/Duke level pickup.

If Barnes is UK’s daddy does that make Will Wade UK’s granddaddy?

Because we signed a 6-10 guy who can run the floor to go along with a 5-star PG, 2 4-star forwards, and a lights out 3-pt shooter.

Cooper is a great player and Thor has a lot of raw ability.

The other guys are fine and I'm sure will develop into good players but they are pretty run of the mill SEC signees - #127, #150, #166, decent offer lists most of which were contingent on whether higher ranked guys signed or not.

Certainly not "UK/NC/Duke-level talent"

Well, shite, that sounds a lot like LSU's class.

You may not want to look at LSU’s class and who is returning.

Oof . There goes your lunch.

It's easily the best class Bruce has signed since he's been here. We've averaged 27 wins per year the last 3 years with lesser talent, imho.

Hopefully that's his point.

I do agree it's not blueblood level talent, though.

Better than the Heron, Wiley, Harper, McLemore class? That was a pretty highly rated group that performed to rating.

Definitely a good, deep class.

Yeah I'd say so. Good mixture of guys who might be 1 or 2 and done (Cooper, Thor) and then 3 other guys that should be a part of our core going forward.

I'm extremely high on Moore and I think he is what puts this class over the top. He will surprise as early as this coming season.

What are AU fan's expectations for this year? I think a decent sized stepback is expected by most on the outside but most AU fans I've seen still seem to think this team will finish near the top of the SEC.

Would a 20ish win season be seen as a disappointment by Auburn fans?

I agree on this year. I think we will be on the good side of the bubble by the end of the year only because I truly believe Bruce has turned a corner as a coach.

20-22 wins is my expectation, winning record in SEC.

The rotation I expect to see will have zero upperclassmen. The only one on the roster is a junior (Jamal Johnson) and I don't think he can defend at a high enough level to get real playing time.

I think this is more than fair. This was similar to my expectation for Tennessee last season before Turner got hurt. I guess once we see the full schedules and computer rankings it will be easier to project final win totals.

Yeah and similar to the Vols this past season, if Cooper gets hurt, we are screwed.
