How is your Dline looking?

The DL was never a concern. There are 5 seniors and they're being pushed by others. So, there is really no story line to come from this unit.

Jordon Scott, has trimmed down to 320, which should help his conditioning.

Austin Faoliu reportedly leveled up his game and is the dude of the unit. He was 285 as true frosh and played. Trimmed down to 275 last year and is now a trim 295. He is putting OL on their back in practice. These kind of reports are more "Once I see it, I will believe it" sorta thing.

Bryson Young from the stud hybrid spot seems to be running with the ones. He is kinda of the surprise.

I do want to preface this by saying that Oregon was slightly above average last year on defense. We are excited about the defense and think it will turn for the better. That being said, most realistic people see us landing somewhere in the 20-30 range.

The DL is solid and no one is expecting spectacular.

Where this defense could be spectacular is on the edge. They have the right body types, the depth and the raw talent to get there.

Looks like Cord will play QB with packages for Gatewood and Nix.

After a first down, we will not run inside zone quick-ever.

If we sugar huddle, it is not a quick pitch.

If we pass, expect complex route trees such as a stick route outside with a corner route from slot.

We do not throw screens.

28-17 is not a ridiculous prediction. The biggest question for me is how the qbs respond for Auburn. Also, if a qb starts and is doing well enough, I would not want my coach switching them out for another one that's never played.

Auburn's defense should be good. Auburn's offense will likely struggle again.

1. D line is by far the strength with potential multiple 1st rounders coming off of it. Line backers we lost the most. The d line should be able to hide some inexperience and apparently true freshman owen pappoe has shined. Secondary should improve from last season over all and be solid.

2. O line was weak point last season but started to gell and play well the last few games. They are thin in deapth but barring any injuries should be decent. Definitely improvement from last season but they were also rock bottom

3. At running back I believe you'll mostly see boobee and DJ Williams who has emerged as a hard runner. Shivers will be mixed in as a smaller speedster I expect will try to get to the edges.

4. I believe the wr core will be solid with some speed as well. Some experience and speed to like there.

5. For qb everyone has their money on gatewood. Cam newton type size and hopefully can move like him as well. Bo is the better passer and can move too. I'm sure he will have packages. No one honestly knows what to expect when the first whistle blows tho.

Overall this I believe this is the most talented team Gus has had in his tenure. That being said its put up or shut up for him this year. I believe he needs a 9 win season to really be safe.

I believe this to be another good slugfest as the 2010 title game was and I am excited for the rematch. We will see what auburn we get this year. Good luck to you all and I'm excited for this rematch. Cheers

Whitlow is sneaky good.

Also, there is no such thing as Cam Newton size at QB. There's only one Cam Newton. That dude is the Everest of qbs.

Our OL is shite, all of our decent WR's are injured, and Gus is grooming his next failure at QB. Also our depth is extremely thin at DL. We fricked.

Well, Gatewood is 6’5 235-240 lbs. So yes he is Cam size.

The only guy playing well is our true freshman Linebacker so RIP to your little running backs

Just an FYI on the rbs:

CJ Verdell is generously listed at 5'9" and is all of 210. He's a bowling ball with tremendous balance. He was last year's starter. I think he's been spared touches.

Cyrus Hibibi-Likio is 6'1" 222 has gotten a lot of 1st team snaps. He was our goal line back last year but Mastro says he's developed into an every down back.

Dye and Felix are the smaller backs. Felix probably has the best skill set of any RB but can't stay healthy. His burst and speed are the best. Dye is a slasher with good feet but was a true frosh last year.

Cam was all of 250 and that was verified weight at the combine. It wasn't what the AD put out there.

Gatewood is listed 233 everywhere. Look at pictures of Gatewood and then look at Cam. It's substantially different. Gatewood is a big boy.

Herbert is bigger than Gatewood and Herbert is no Cam Newton.

We actually can't provide a great deal of information regarding fall practice since it's usually pretty closed and our insiders are more comfortable being stationed outside.

We know that our DL should be a force.

We pray that out OL will be much better than last years version.

We have high expectations on whomever plays QB.

We know our QB will act like a freshman at times.

We expect to be solid at RB but know that our OL has a lot to say about that.

Everything else should be good to above average.

It should be an interesting game.
