Bad officiating in the state of Alabama is more of a tradition than hounds tooth or bama jamma. It is a cultural thing just like cajun food and hunting alligators in Louisiana. They even frick up sports nobody cares about like boys soccer. I have witnessed it first hand the last two years in quarter finals. You get an apology letter of sorts a week after the finals.They suck in high school football, boys diving, track and field, you name it.
No one wants to be an official here in anything so you either get barney fife want to be or complete asshats. Its really sad, but is is so widespread that nobody gives a shite anymore

I guessing you are referring to the play at 3rd. I can't agree that was a BS call. Bang bang play that could of gone either way.
