Never heard of the kid, but who told him he could be successful in politics at age 21?

Being successful in politics doesn't mean he has to be elected or even run for public office. There are a lot of ways to pursue politics at the age of 21.

Without a college degree? Why not finish school then pursue it? Unless he has already graduated which the short article didn't say.

You really think he's just going to drop out of school and think he can get into politics? All it says is he's given up football to pursue politics. I'm sure he's either graduated, will graduate, or will transfer to another school and get an undergrad in political science, or a similar major.

I realize he could see the writing on the wall concerning playing time, but I am not sure quitting something you haven't finished yet is the best way to begin your political career.

The only thing that would explain this to me, is if Alabama has a weed legalization matter on the ballot this fall; if so, it makes perfect Auburn sense.
