Nothing like the crying we hear when Bama loses a game. They blame the refs, cheating by the other team or the entire CF World. We all know Bama never really loses a game.

Y'all hear a whole lot less whining from Bama fans though. Bama has lost 6 games in 5 yrs, AU has lost 25 games in the same period.

But, but, but Gus "always has Auburn in the championship discussion at some point every year" so all is well, right?

I don't remember any other fanbase complaining about lineman blocking illegally downfield or the QB being beyond the line of scrimmage. Or illegal picks. But I could be wrong.

Years and multiple NCs later, at that.

We gave up Georgia Tech, Tennessee and Florida each year to satisfy expansion in 1992.

I miss the annual UT/Auburn matchup...that was a great series. Auburn led it 22-18-3 when it was dropped from the annual rotation.

I support the change. But Georgia Tech wasn't stopped by 1992. Two Permanent cross-divisional rivals made sense to me, the way it was for 10 years.

No chance in going back to that now with 14 teams.

The SEC East was the beast for most of the 1990s. UF and Tennessee were in their golden eras.

Really, NS has spoiled us rotten. When you only give your fans 6 loses in a 5 yr stretch they tend to harp and over analyze them. Give your fan 25 losses in a 5 yr stretch and they tend to settle for less and are ok with mediocrity.

Auburn Fans blame the coach (Gus), Bama fans blame everything else.

Because the two SEC programs that originally put Southern football on the map, Tennessee and Alabama, will not give up a series that has been played annually for a century.

1) You overestimate Tennessee's contribution to football.

2) If Bama and Tennessee want to keep that game that literally no one outside of those two fanbases cares about, then they should be the ones to make concessions. Not any other school. And as a conference, our scheduling is fricked in part because of this outdated, irrelevant "rivalry."

Alabama is the reason the Rose Bowl went to B10 and P12 only for so long.
Meanwhile, UT got clowned out there every single time.

Oh horseshite!
Auburn fans blame the schedule (move the DSOR), the division they play in (begging to move East), the recruiting disadvantages, injuries, inexperience, lack of depth. Yet you fans are ok settling with a mediocre coach?

Bama has an elite coach, and we all know it.

Will they take it to a vote at the SEC meetings in Destin? Now is the time for change, put it on the table and see if the conference has changed it's tune.

Recruiting falls on who, again?

Having Bama and UGA essentially back to back is a mother fricker. You know it, I know it. But it's what we have.

bullshite, nobody blames that for the loses. AU fans believe they are at a disadvantage in some of those area, but you never hear them bitch about those issues talking about a loss. Those issues are a result of coaching staff, not the refs or the world trying to ruin Bama's party.

Recruiting falls on the HC, and Gus has consistently recruited better at Auburn than any other time in their history. He brings in talent, plenty enough to do better than 3-4 losses a year.

You only have UGA/UA back to back one more year. But it hasn't always been a mother fricker, Auburn (Gus) found a way to lose to UGA in a couple of their worst years in decades. Just like he's found a way to lose to LSU back to back with CEO as HC, and he found a way to lose 1st yr HC's Moorehead/Pruitt.

If Gus was only losing to Bama and maybe UGA every year. he'd be ok for a while. But losing 25 games in 5 yrs isn't just those two rivals.

You haven't won an SECC in 20 years and you're barely holding on to big 6 status.

When was your last National Championship? Oh that's right.
