Wore orange jerseys in the late 70s. Dye put a stop to it. 90% of schools now wear alternate uniforms. Recruits seem to like it. UGA has black, lots of schools wear gray, I do not want to do it a lot, but once a year would be OK with me.

I'd be fine with dropping our purple jerseys completely.
When we were forced to wear them, the 90's happened. Now we wear them one game or so a year against a lesser opponent...like Troy.

Look. he is trolling you, but seriously? We have the same number of National Titles as Auburn, More Conference Championships, more wins, more wins head to head, more weeks at AP #1 and the more recent Conference title. Auburn, to its credit has the more recent National Title appearance and the more recent National Title, to fall back on.
But, to say we have less history than Auburn...or no history at all is dumb.
