Auburn football History.

128 years of playing teams in football.
The FIRST SEC team of SEC existence by beating UGA by a score of 10-0 in muddy Piedmont Park, in Atlanta in 1892.
We are the oldest founding member of the SEC and the first Champions in a glorious Empire that would then conquer the BCS, AP Poll, many other polls and many, many other things and years later.
Unpredictable, yet Victorious.

Is Auburn not the first University to play a football game in the SEC?
We took that coal-powered locomotive (which doesn't even exist today) and played in the first game...and won.

In 1893 the following was invented and showcased at the Chicago Fair:
-Electricity
-Chewing Gum
-An odd thing called the "Hamburger".

Auburn football literally began the year before those inventions.
Georgia should be GRATEFULL that we gave you your first loss.
It was a fun game that lived.....to spark an absolute dominant athletic Empire a Century later.
Thank God for the Plains.
