The Tigers' schedule is BRUTAL, with road games against LSU, Florida and Texas A&M, a neutral-site date with a likely Top 15 Oregon and annual engagements with Alabama and Georgia (this time at home for both). Auburn is likely to be an underdog in all six of those games,

Aug. 31: vs. Oregon (in Dallas)
Sept. 7: vs. Tulane
Sept. 14: vs. Kent State
Sept. 21: at Texas A&M
Sept. 28: vs. Mississippi State
Oct. 5: at Florida
Oct. 19: at Arkansas
Oct. 26: at LSU
Nov. 2: vs. Ole Miss
Nov. 16: vs. Georgia
Nov. 23: vs. Samford
Nov. 30: vs. Alabama

Under imo.

Georgia and Alabama at home?
Must win season for the coach?
New QB?
Low preseason ranking?

They're gonna lose to LSU in Baton Rouge and then run the table. 11-1, SEC West Champs.

It's how these things work.

Years like this ARE when they usually have a good season.

Under and not a Top-25 by any formula.

We need to earn it this year.

Does Malzahn survive a 7 or 8 win season?

Auburn consistently plays the toughest schedule in this conference.

But we thrive as an underdog.

very true. The satanic goat sacrifices they do out in west Georgia make it so

I wish we still played them every year.

Would gladly get rid of one of these to get them back:

Texas A&M
Arkansas
Ole Miss

I don’t dislike A&M, it just feels like a weird matchup.

Y’all’s games against LSU, Arky, and Bama are much more natural IMO.

For starters, our schedule will always be brutal...its just a fact

Second, who the fk knows. We could be gang busters with Gus calling the plays or we could look like shite. 8 wins is about right. Nothing special, not a disaster.

Although it could get out of hand quick if Gus fricks around and lets Malik Willis be Qb

2 things.

- Auburn has great offensive weapons and will have a better defense on par with 2017. It 100% depends on QB play.

- Gus is gone if he doesn’t win 9 games. Even with 9 he can’t get blown out by UGA and Bama.
