Equestrian is rotten, my sources tell me the horses are owned like property, they don’t get dodge chargers or even a little piece of the pie, literally or figuratively, just an occasional carrot with their oats.

National champions?
I say nay, national disgrace

Yeah I used to enjoy the daily updates from them on Bama Gymnastics and Softball. I guess it will start back up after Saban retires and those sports matter again.

Auburn is trying to help society. I understand they only go after troubled inner city horses and give them a shot at doing something with their lives.

Much like this:

This is actually one of your better posts. You represent your Alma Mater well (did you even attend?).

Alabama is building a n equestrian center. I assume that they'll compete in whatever fashion collegiate horses do.
The only ironic thing about it, is that the equestrian center is adjacent to the local community college several miles south of the main University campus.

Odd Bama is embarrassed to be seen with horses but walk arm in arm with A&M fans now.

Shelton State Community College ? Title IX makes equestrian a perfect sport. Small arena and most of the horses are owned by the riders. Rowing is another cheap sport, but most schools do not have access to waterways to make it appealing to colleges.

I've been impressed with the Bama Row team the last 4-5 yrs. I've been able to watch their training many times as I have a place on the Black Warrior on Jack Warner Pkwy next to their facilities and use the walking path along the river to view the team.
