I'm not reading all these pages... But does anyone actually know what really happened aside from this girl posting a rant on a Facebook group who has PTSD not from combat but an alleged sexual assault?

it would seem in this situation that PTSD from a sexual assault would be worse considering what the players are alleged to have done. Of course the players couldn't have known she had ptsd but the point isn't that she had ptsd but that they acted like arse clowns for no reason.

Obviously a tPOS move and the actions are indefensible an they should be punished accordingly. Not sure what other "light" we can bring. I'm sure this has led to 16 pages of intellectual level headed discourse though

i doubt you could find any auburn fan who would totally endorse the behavior of theses players if what the girl said was correct. just responding to it being blown out of proportion by schools that have taken and kept worse thugs

From what I can gather:
Dontavius Russell and Andrew Williams went up to the dog (only with leash and collar) and girl. The girl proceeds to yell at them for petting the dog. Instead of walking away, the two Auburn players decided to call her a "bitch" and argue back with her. She then throws a hissy fit, blames the whole situation on them because she has PTSD, and says that this was her service dog (or whatever).
I don't agree with the Auburn students yelling back at her, but hell, I probably would have done the same thing not knowing her situation. How would they know what was going on with her when she just snaps on them like that? The dog had no equipment on the signify what it was there for and she was in normal clothing. Also, she sounds like a crazy bitch. JMO.

well you aren't suppose to be touching service dogs. It should be common sense to not just walk up to random dogs and start petting them without talking to the owner first. That is a good way to end up getting bitten.
They should also know that when wearing auburn football team gear they can't just respond back like that. they need to think about the repercussions of getting into a verbal spat. Of course they have a whole legion of fans that will come to their aid and put all the blame on the victim but it makes the team look bad from the outside. Gus just needs to explain to his players that when they wear auburn gear they represent the team as a whole and they can't be harassing people or responding in that fashion.
