Is this common for y’all? I listened to a 247 podcast and they said there was install for Oregon already. I imagine Oregon is probably doing something but the party line is always, “we are focused on us...blah, blah...gotta stay discipline, humble and hungry, hoorah!” bullshite.

I was surprised they were so open.

What’s standard operating procedure at your school?

If Oregon prep means practicing the playbook, then yes

By "install" do you mean AU has the scout team simulating the Ducks offense?

The 247 Auburn site was saying it was specific to Oregon. The idea was there was time set apart to focus on Oregon.

It sounded like the offense was given scout looks on our defense.

Malzahn knows how important this season is, and if they lose the first game to Oregon, it's going to be a rough season. One he may not finish as head coach.

Oh my bad, still to adjusting to life with reading glasses(like remembering to put them on), you mean Oregon did an install. I have the same reply however, Oregon marches to a different drum too.

I really doubt it. And yeah that is uncommon.

ETA: I think they are getting this from when Malzahn said that it was a base scrimmage but they also ran some plays that they know they will run in the first game as well.

apparently our offense looked like shite today... maybe they were giving our defense the Oregon redbox bowl game look.

With no other info...I'd have to say it's Defensive and Steele is doing it. Some believe he might be a bit more organized than Gus. Gus will get game plans in around the first of October.

You know I live in the same state as Auburn and I have no idea what to expect from them on the football field, other than they are going to play fast. It has to be frustrating for Oregon's coaching staff to prepare for them.

You still got it wrong. Oregon isn’t doing prep for Auburn.

Sounded like Auburn offense got looks on Oregon’s defense.

Hire a shitty coach, keep him too long, learn nothing.
