Zucchini
Corn

Protein:

Hamburger meat (but it is rare to The Plains at the moment.

Vidalia Onions and Bell Peppers are going great right now.

Auburn has a Fall-Line-Type Cuisine.

Broths, Fried Chicken, Vegetable Stew with Turkey, Quall eggs and a nice stew with yeast bread. That screams August for Auburn. Boiled Eggs and Squash.

Tell me about your August recipes, Baws.

Auburn cuisine is very French.

But, very German in Bread.

No Pasta, No Olive Oil, no Greek or Italian.

Birds and hunting is the strategy.

I’m more intrigued with every post. Do continue.

What are your options if your initial strategy fails?

What are your back up ingredients? Herbs? Spices?

Salt! That isn't healthy unless add just a little to cooking. :)

In Austin, it's plant based chicken with a grande soy latte topped with beta cum cream.
