I liked the way they played the second half. The three's weren't falling, but our guys were running clock on pretty much every possession. 100 would have been nice, but just close out the game......survive and advance.

We should have kept running and beat them by as much as we wanted. Kansas would have tried to beat us by 50 if given the chance.

Auburn’s offense poured it on for 30 solid minutes. Was very impressive because KU shot 7-7 from the field to start the second half and couldn’t gain ground. The last ten minutes kinda sucked as our team isn’t that great slowing things down.

Auburn is fricking terrifying when the 3 is falling.
That "controlled chaos" defense that Pearl has been using his whole career can beat any team on any given night. Now he's got a team full of snipers instead of just Chris Lofton. Scary.
I remember the first time I saw it live, his first year at Tennessee, exhibition game, won by like 50. I went and bought tickets for SEC season the next day.

Taking the air out fo the ball isn't our strong suit, but it was the right play. We literally had the game won with 12 to play if we simply burned 30 seconds of clock each possession and hit free throws.

It was the right play. Pearl has learned from the past to save those legs when you have the opportunity. His style of play is exhausting and I always thought it hurt us towards the end of the season when he was at Tennessee.
