I don't know what you do against him when he is on. Johnson started running 2 at him when he got to half court to get the ball out of his hands but that left us 4 on 3 and we took advantage of it.

I think you just have to let him fire from distance.

You can't smother him at the timeline. It's impossible to stay in front of him and once he gets in the lane he's fantastic. Basically, it boils down to a spot up 3 from 28 ft by Harper or a pass and catch corner 3 by Brown or somebody else. Personally, I'm going to let Harper keep shooting. If he beats you.......you tip the shite out of your cap.

Bama beat Auburn with all of our players?
Well that's news to me, but it really doesn't matter anyway because if we played Wiley and Purifoy against y'all we would have to vacate that win anyway.

Sounds like you are close to vacating the entire season. Too bad CBP won't be there next year. He seems to be a very good coach despite all the cheating.

Avery Johnson is Alabama’s Gus Malzahn.

But you have to play for at least a minute for it to show up on the stat sheet. If he hadn't fouled Sefton then you would have never known he checked in at all.

Quickest foul ever?

You do realize Auburn is 1-1 against said trash team...right?

Yup, and we played one of our two worst games on offense that day. Congrats on that win though 90-71
Yep, and we played one of our worst games on defense last night...so what?
And by the way, they don't let but 5 guys on the floor at a time, so.........and Alabama was without Sexton when they beat Auburn......see, both sides can play that game.

As for that “game.” Being without one star player is a lot better situation compared to Auburn being without four key players including one projected first round draft pick, two total five star recruits, and the SEC’s leading shot blocker. Auburn was without two of our most talented players when y’all beat Auburn that game. Given that Auburn is ranked #1 in FT percentage, we also uncharacteristically missed a bunch of FTs that game as well. Sure Bama missed some FTs that game, but Bama is ranked 12th in the SEC that category and obviously that game was no aberration.

Auburn...with...7 players

I thought basketball was played with five players on each side. By playing seven against five, no wonder Auburn managed to win the the last game of the series.

What is the big question is how they get away with playing seven. I guess the FBI will address that issue.

Last I am aware of, you only need 5 to play.
So what is the big deal here?

If Avery Johnson produced the basketball version of the football success Gus has had I'd be ecstatic

Basically would translate to

Final Four
Round 32
NIT
Sweet 16
Elite 8
