You did win a game at home...then you got your arse kicked on the road. Congrats on the fluke win.

Well as long as those "fluke wins" stay in quad 1 as our quality wins I'm fine with it

but no seriously win the league Auburn

Our Oklahoma win is fading and you're our best W on the resume

I think we both have pretty solid basketball teams. Y'all were much better tonight and we were better on our home floor.

Pretty impressive y'all will win the league this year. I hope Pearl stays, him and Avery make the rivalry fun.

A wise man said auburn is a top 15 team almost 3 months ago

Another wise man said about the same time that Auburn would win 12 SEC games this year, and Auburn achieved that tonight.

Those are two of the wisest men on this whole board when it comes to SEC MBB if you ask me

Yea and Bama beat auburn when they had all their players==pearl overrated.

Bama beat Auburn with all of our players?
Well that's news to me, but it really doesn't matter anyway because if we played Wiley and Purifoy against y'all we would have to vacate that win anyway.

Two pretty good teams. I enjoyed watching Sexton play. He's pretty damned good

I saw the Iron Bowl trophy presented. Is it a different feeling knowing Bama won the NC or is it the same?

Just because we played worse than y'all that night doesn't mean y'all were the better team.

And that I've been saying since April when I said Harper was the best returning PG in the SEC. And I was right.

Only Sexton is better than Harper IMO. And really you can make the argument that at this point, while Sexton is clearly one of the most elite scorers in CBB and obviously a better basketball player, but Harper is actually a better pure PG. Harper averages 6 assists per game to 3.5 for Sexton, Harper averages more steals, Harper is a better FT shooter, Harper is a better and more accurate passer. All those things are in a PGs job description. And honestly, if Auburn didn't have Mustapha Heron and Bryce Brown to lead way scoring, and Harper was his teams top scoring option then I believe Harper is definitely capable of averaging the 18ppg that Sexton is as well.

Nope, just feels like we kicked Bama's arse and won the Iron Bowl.
Honestly it feels no different than in 2006 when we beat Florida and then they won the NC. Meaning, the fact that yall went on to win the NC is irrelevant to to my enjoyment, memory, or feelings about winning that game.

Do you think that Auburn had a better football team than Bama in 2017?

No doubt about it. Harper dominated that game. He controlled the tempo, got to the rim anytime he wanted, found the open man, made sure we took advantage of any mismatch on the court and scored when we needed him to score. As far as pg play goes he did everything right.

He was fantastic. And he made 2-3 long, long pull up 3's to make sure Sexton/Herb had to check him at the timeline. At that point we were pretty fricked.

He's a great player. Love watching him play.
