Basically was never healthy while at AU. Blew out his arm pitching senior year of high school and never really recovered

I figured that was coming. We went from no backup options to two pretty good ones, one of them being last year's starter.
Hope TQ finds a place to play ball. I suspect it will be at a much much smaller school.

That sucks. Injuries really killed any chance he may have had. I hope he gets healthy and gets a chance to play somewhere.

Hard to argue that. I like the fact that Mullen has specific criteria he is looking for at QB and recruits to that for his system. For awhile it seemed like Gus was just grabbing whatever QB that caught his fancy. Recently we have started focusing more on recruiting purely dual threat guys which is encouraging but I still worry we overvalue athleticism

Queen had the tools. Auburn stood by our scholarship offer even after he ruined his arm in HS baseball and had to have Tommy John Surgery. He was 5th string. A three star QB out of HS.

This shocks no one who has followed Auburn football for the last 2 years.

It's a sad day when I agree with Al Bundy Bulldog on anything but he's absolutely right. While not a very good recruiter, Mullen is a great evaluator and developer of talent. He just can't get the natural talent that the big boys can.
