Undefeated Baylor is in ahead of either of you.

Also, if Oregon or Utah wins out, they got you beat, too.

Sorry, but that's the way it is. Don't worry, though. Shreveport in the dead of winter is fan-freakin-tastic.

You’ll be facing Auburn/Bama in the Peach Bowl more than likely if UGA goes down Saturday.

And it’ll be a home environment for either team with it being so close to Atlanta.

Good luck.

What makes you say that regarding Oregon? Bama is currently ahead of UO, both teams have 1 tough opponent left, and Bama has a chance to beat Oregon’s only loss

This is the best post on this board. Ever.

It's not happening. There is ZERO chance they are putting Auburn or Alabama behind them since Auburn took them out on a neutral field. Heck, Alabama is already ahead of Oregon.

Oklahoma has a terrible loss to Kansas State and an ugly win against Iowa State. They have no big games left on their schedule. The committee doesn't respect Baylor and already have them ranked behind Auburn. Auburn/Alabama will be ahead of 1 loss Oklahoma.

Auburn will jump to ~ #8 with a win over UGA.

Once Penn State and Minnesota lose, the Iron Bowl will be a #6 or #7 Auburn against a #4 Alabama.

You are absolutely retarded if you think a 1-loss Pac 12 champ Oregon isn't getting in over a 2-loss Auburn

Oregon resume

1 top 10 win over Utah, No other ranked wins
Loss to Auburn

Auburn resume

top 10 wins over Oregon, Alabama, Georgia
Losses @ #1 LSU and top 10 Florida

Auburn easily gets in over them.

You are an absolute moron if you think otherwise

Sorry that you might be heading toward a Bama/Auburn home game in Atlanta as LSU's first playoff game. I know it's hard to swallow.

Auburn has two great losses. They're not getting left out to a team they beat while having 3X as many top 10 wins as them.

I posted to one of you hobo tigers yesterday. according to the Selection Committee Protocol

quote:

non-champion or independent is unequivocally one of the four best teams in the country.

AU has a better resume than Bama right now imo. But I don't see a 2 loss non-champ beating out a 1 loss champ. Especially if its OU who would have beaten a top 15 Baylor twice or one of the pac-12's who will play it out.

Geaux Tigers anyway. This fella is feasting on Elephants too. I think his name is Jeaux

Well Auburn beat Oregon on a neutral field with a true freshman QB in his first start. Without that game I totally agree. But it will loom large and be the deciding factor. It'll also be the reason Alabama gets in over Oregon.

As for Oklahoma, they're going to be leapfrogged by Auburn on Tuesday with a win over #4 UGA. Another win over a #4 Alabama will seal Auburn remaining ahead of them. The committee has made it clear that they don't respect Baylor and have them at #13. With two losses they're going to be in the 20-25 range.

Oklahoma lost to a bad unranked Kansas State team and played Iowa State to the wire. They have no top 10 wins. They aren't a factor.

Bank on Bama getting in if they win out.

Lol. They're gonna need a lot of help, too.

The CFP will have great ratings no matter who is there, and very few people outside of LA/AL will want to tune in to watch bama get abused yet again.

100% agree. Unless by some miracle they are a 1 loss champ or undefeated champ(tho beating OU twice would be hard) they are in. They have 2 ranked games, 3 if they play for the Big 12 title.

The four best teams argument is so flawed. IMO you have to earn it through wins and losses. Wins should count more than losses but if there is a big number of 1 losses , a 2 loss team shouldn't even be considered.

But honestly, the only fair way to do this is champions invitational and they pick the one that's left out.

Baylor would be in if they win out but it's not happening.

At the end of the day with my scenario I laid out, Auburn will hav played 5 top 10 teams and won against three of them. The two losses will be in the toughest of the top 3-4 stadiums to win at in college football.

Mike Greenberg agrees with me. . .

If you truly, honestly think a 2-loss AU that doesn't win their division even has the smallest remote chance at the playoffs you are beyond being reasoned with.
