Oregon? Forget about them. Auburn beat them and Alabama would've gone into Auburn and beaten them on the road. They're irrelevant.

Oklahoma? The committee dropped them to #10 after the pitiful Iowa State performance.

Baylor? They're undefeated and the committee doesn't respect them enough to put them ahead of 2 loss Auburn.

In the committees eyes, the loss for Auburn @ #1 LSU will not penalize them. They're other loss on the road @ a top 10 Florida team won't be a dagger either.

Auburn would have three top 10 wins.

Alabama would have 1 top 10 win over Auburn, and the lone loss being to #1 LSU.

My Grandfather smoked his whole life. I was about 10 years old when my mother said to him, 'If you ever want to see your grandchildren graduate, you have to stop immediately.'. Tears welled up in his eyes when he realized what exactly was at stake. He gave it up immediately. Three years later he died of lung cancer. It was really sad and destroyed me. My mother said to me- 'Don't ever smoke. Please don't put your family through what your Grandfather put us through." I agreed. At 28, I have never touched a cigarette. I must say, I feel a very slight sense of regret for never having done it, because your post gave me cancer anyway.

I agree if you beat UGA and Bama you have a shot. You’d need some help but you truly would have a shot

You think a 2 loss, non-SEC champion Auburn is going to sniff the playoffs?

I wasn't quite sure what was going on at first, and then suddenly, TOUCHDOWN!

Nope.

Auburn loses a close one to GA and beats bama. Really good bowl game then.

AND - OKLA and Oregon win out, they are in the 4th spot.

No brainer.

Gee I wonder who your 1 downvote is from. The OP could be the only person that would downvote a post as good as that one was.

Judging by the replies to this comment, today is the first time on the internet for a lot of people. This copypasta is so old, my actual grandfather might've written it.

Your boomer is showing, Rant.

This is starting to remind me of the last time LSU beat Alabama - and the rematch occurred.

Fans here (the same as last time) want everyone on the planet EXCEPT Alabama - and it ain’t got shite to do with schedule. Oregon? Baylor? Okie? Penn State? Minnesota? They are better than Alabama? Of course not. It’s all about the fear of a repeat of last time.

Another tidbit: The rating were huge the last time, and this past game. They will be absolute killer for another Natty game and will break records if a rematch occurs.

Bank on Bama getting in if they win out.
