Essentially a week to prepare for each team will make this game interesting. Virginia usually packs the paint to not let you drive so if we drive and kick out for three to our role players and they’re hitting then we should win comfortably. If not we’ll be in trouble. Some have said it’s easier to slow the pace down than speed it up, they didn’t have much trouble with UNC in the regular season and almost beat Duke at Cameron.

I don’t think Virginia has the offensive firepower to keep up either. They will slow it down for sure and Auburn won’t get as many possessions as they are used to but that won’t be enough. Auburn will still run out on these guys and a couple runs where Auburn gets hot from 3 will have Virginia trying to catch up and out of their comfort zone. Auburn -5.5 makes more sense than Auburn +5.5. With Duke out I actually think Auburn should be the favorite in the Final Four.

Thats the thing about Auburns style IMO....even when they arent playing well they always go on 1 or 2 insane runs a game that makes up for it.
