They make an exception if you win the SEC.

State finishes first game 6-3 but not before absolutely making the last AU batter shite himself. I don't know what he saw from Holder but the dude ran out of the batter's box before Holder even released the pitch for strike 1

Holder was the nastiest he's been in his entire career right there. Un f'n real. 10 pitches to k the side in the 9th. Struck out 5 of 6 overall...

quote:Kendall probably had his worst game. More line drives than I have seen him giving up all year. Really, really poor defensive play. We deserved to lose. But, this is not a bad Auburn team. How do they play so badly all year?
Dogs shitting the bed so far with sloppy play

But why finish game one tonight? That was kinda dumb. Either play it this afternoon or tomorrow afternoon.

I believe the way the SEC rules are set up we should have finished game 1 when game 2 was supposed to start, but if the scheduled game is on tv, you finish the delayed game afterwards so you can still be on schedule for the televised game.

Yeah I guess. Tomorrow during the day seemed more logical to me though without knowing what time tomorrow's game was slated for. Better crowd I'd imagine.

Roger that. That makes more sense with that spring game tomorrow.

Since it's our spring homecoming, we are on a pretty tight schedule overall tomorrow. May have been possible to fit it in -- but I'm glad they didn't try.
