Score was close. My bad. I do remember AU not looking particularly strong in the 2003 game (shutout). Also, for the 2002 game they didn't look very good after the half. AU had something like 40 yards in the 2nd half of that game while USC had like 160. Also, USC held the ball for 19+ minutes in the 2nd half and held AU to a total fo 4 possessions in the 2nd half (two of which were 3 & outs).
I guess I just remembered the score not reflecting the game in 2002. My bad.

2004 was an abberation...three major programs undefeated..rare to have more than one and sometimes the pickings are slimmer and you have a 2 loss LSU in it (dont get your P&G underwear in a wad...not saying they didnt deserve it)
