It's no Lee County Boys and Girls Club trophy for same, but still nice.

I'll claim it.

But

The school didn't claim it.
We didn't hang banners
And we didn't have a parade

All that being said...

As I recall the Auburn fan who created this had to end it early because USC fans found out and started flooding it

You GD sure did have a parade!!! I can find pics of Tommy in that old pimp mobile if you like. Players were riding on trailers of freaking hay bales!

There was definitely a parade and about half of Lee County showed up for it with toilet paper and mardi gras beads.

Auburn did get robbed that year... They should have had the opportunity to play for it at least...

USC later vacated that natty so it would only make sense to give it to us who was 13-0 and ranked #2. If they wouldn’t have cheated, I would say don’t claim it.

I agree. Auburn did get jobbed that year. They had a great team. By the way, is that the last and only year that the PEOPLE'S NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP was awarded. If you'll recall they had signs saying that they were the PNC.
