AU was gifted the game when Tua went down. Jones was responsible for 21 point turn around.

It's obvious a club needs a backup and UA failed to have one for this moment so that's a fail. He kept UA from an almost lock 7 with 1st and two at AU's 2. And handed AU 7 instead on a platter. That's a 14 point turnaround. Then for good measure he threw another pick 7. His objective was to keep from losing the game and let the play makers win it. Which they would have fairly comfortably done even with a horrible defense which is another story. Didn't happen.
Odds of this seriously flawed team winning anything in a playoff were nil in any event so there you go. So AU did the playoffs a favor. Most remarkably turbulent year I can recall and I've saw a few.
Edit to add: If you think the playoff committee was ever going to include Bama without Tua then take a look at the four top teams: OSU with Fields. Clemson with the Golden Boy. LSU with Burrow. And UGA with Burrow.

AU didn't do anything to the playoffs. The 4th spot was alwasy going to be between the winners of the big 12 and pac 12.

I see you’ve moved into the bargaining phase of the grieving process. Gals to see you’re making progress.

Sorry your player got hurt. It happens to numerous teams every year.

Are you stupid or just don't understand football?
That interception was caused by your fullback missing his block which didn't allow the play to fully develop and a fluke pick 6 to occur.

It's football. That's how it works.

A loss to Ed O will do this to a man.

It’s ok Jim. It was a good run. Nothing lasts forever. You can still keep the big A on the window of your F-150.

Take Waddle off the field and AU wins by 3 TDs, so I counter your what if excuse.

I don't disagree but take your L like a man.
The Gus Bus beat y'all again.

Jones hit his teammate right in the back. maybe his teammate should turn around and catch the ball. That game is not on Jones. It's on the defense.

The fullback can't block a defensive back covering a receiver. That's offensive pass interference.

Or another major special teams blunder that cost Alabama dearly under Saban. He’s obviously had incredible success as well, but some of his special teams miscues have been costly.
