Good luck Florida. As an Auburn fan, I am just glad that we made it this far. I don't necessarily expect a win tonight, but you never know. Should be an exciting game. Our starting pitcher kinda sucks, but it looks like yours does too, so this should be a high scoring game.

Mitchell has actually been very good for us this year. Coaches just have a very quick trigger with him due to his command issues. When he is throwing strikes he is very good. Leftwhich looks pretty good from what I have seen for UF. He got roughed up the first couple innings against AU earlier but settled down and dominated the rest of the game.

Should be fun.

Obviously we have never been to Omaha, and although UF is the favorite tonight, we have a real shot.

It's been way too long but AU has been to Omaha, the last time coming in 1997. Probably the single greatest CWS field ever produced with stars on every team. One of the most enjoyable weeks I have ever had in my life.

I guess that was before super regionals? How did it work back then?

It's been awhile, but I think there used to be eight-team regionals. No super regionals.

Gotcha. Thanks for the correction. I guess that was before super regionals as I know yesterday was our first super regional win.

Thanks and good luck yourselves. But not too much luck. If luck has anything to do with it.

I’m 51% sure UF will win. Auburn is a tough out and been playing good ball lately.

Auburn has been to 4 College World Series and I'm pretty sure all of them were in Omaha. You a big fan?

Yep, I didn't realize it either. Our last trip to the World Series was in 1997.

Looks like we went twice in the 90,s and twice before I was born.

I'm not all that well versed in what happened with AU baseball over 20 years ago and again before I was born. Fortunately I have bama fans to answer on all things Auburn when needed.

this will be the second AU baseball game i've watched this year, the other being game 1...

so I'm basically an expert and I know for a fact that AU is going to kick arse
