I hearing that belichick is their leading candidate. He recently found Jesus and is looking for somewhere where he can mentor young impressionable minds at the college level. He's meeting with Reverand Chett tomorrow to discuss their future plans for the souls of Auburn football players.Prise Jesus.Nick Satan is scared.

Agreed. Why the hell would Jimbo leave Florida State to coach against Saban and Miles in the SEC?
I don't think we have a chance at either of them, but I think it is absurd to think coaches don't want to come to the SEC because they're scared of the competition.

I've heard twice now that Mack Brown is putting out feelers.

You are the worst troll on this board. You're probably a nice guy in person. Don't be something you're not... especially when you are terrible at it.

For the record, I don't think either one will end up at Auburn. I think it will be an NFL guy or my boy C. Strong.

Louisville will probably be forced into over paying for Strong.

Well, if he finishes out his season strong (dammit), then he will get some good looks from a couple schools that I have a hard time believing he'd turn down.

Chip Kelly got a phone interview but Auburn told him no thanks.

Yeah, big name coaches don't want to come to Auburn, we get it. Your angle is worse than the one's Jake Holland takes.

Would you guys settle for Bobo?
He's a Georgia guy just as Dye was.

Would the fans? Hell no.
Would the administration? Wouldn't shock me.
I haven't even heard his name mentioned.

They will get neither.
Paul Rhodes, Hugh Freeze, Petrino, Gus Malzahn, Terry Bowden.

I'd take Rhoads, he would be exactly like Tubs (if Tubs did a little coke). Petrino is super unlikely, and the rest the same, if not more so.

I think Paul Rhides would do a very good job. Average 9 wins a year for 10 years.
Posted on 11/7/12 at 10:58 pm to TreyAnastasio
Agreed, but predicting wins is something else.

Charlie Strong would probably be the best hire that they can make.
