I'm not selling them short. It was the truth. They lacked leadership, especially on defense. A lot of that is due to coaching. Changes have been made and I expect to see a better effort next season.

I still think it's a bit disrespectful to say your team gave up because they lost to 3 of the best teams in the country. MSU had a good year, despite the way the season ended. If you want an example of a team that really did give up and pack it in, then look at AU. Those guys quit halfway through the season.

I'm sorry if you misunderstood me but I wasn't saying the losses to those 3 teams was because we gave up. We lost those games because we lost to better teams. Our effort could have been better. The other 2 losses though were to inferior teams.

hum...state builds up the auburn game all off season to impossible proportions the past 3 years...finally beats us, then blames us for sucking and losing to ole miss.
