More proof that money speaks louder than anything. People will even give up hate and revulsion for it.

They will also give up their fiefdom and accept a 1/16th power share vs being the boss, and will even accept potentially being a middle of the road team for eternity.

Works both ways.

Even though this almost certainly a burner account, I’ll play.

You people seem oblivious the idea that it’s not just Aggies that don’t like you. Seems to be the consensus.

Notice how nobody really has an issue with OU joining?

Don't worry about what anyone else thinks, those teams won't be there to help aggie when they go to DKR next year.

I think they already get it.

1. A&M leaves Big 12
2. Texas lobbies for politicians to block move move and for Baylor to sue while vowing to never play A&M again.
3. Texas follows A&M to SEC while tech and Baylor threaten to sue and lobby politicians to block the move.

It’s really not complicated. We appreciate that you’re admitting that we were right, and we look forward to kicking your arse year in and year out. It’ll be fun.

No balls. At least the administration knows their place. Their fans not so much.

I think Johnny Golf pushed ‘em to the decision.

quote:

“Lucky for A&M, we have a 9-, almost 10-year head start on both of those teams being in the SEC,” Manziel, the 2012 Heisman Trophy winner, said. “The rivalry has been gone for a while, but now it looks like it’s coming back. It’s time to just sack up and go play the game. We’re in a good position. We have a good coach. We have a good team.

“If they want to come to the SEC and see what it’s all about then we’ll welcome them with open arms. But it is no cake walk and it is not the Big 12, so it should be interesting to see how things play out.”

Manziel is one of many who have chimed in on the idea of the Longhorns and Sooners bolting from the Big 12. Former Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops, who once called SEC dominance propaganda, penned an opinion piece praising the move.
