The AthleticGrades and snippets from the article.

Alabama- B
The Crimson Tide never found a consistent footing, which in the end prevented them from getting where they wanted to be

Arkansas- C+
Arkansas’ honeymoon with Sam Pittman is over, and he’ll have a lot to prove in 2023, though he’s far from the hot seat.

Auburn- D
Bryan Harsin sunk this team deep, and had he finished the season as head coach this grade would’ve been an F. Williams had the team moving the ball with a pretty good ground game and at least an offensive identity.

Florida- D

Even against a schedule that Sagarin rated the nation’s 11th-toughest, finishing .500 was a discouraging debut for Billy Napier.

Georgia- A+

By no means a perfect team — just ask anyone who saw the Missouri game — but anything less than a perfect grade would be nitpicking.

Kentucky- C

Giving Georgia hell and cruising past rival Louisville to finish at least proved Stoops didn’t lose this team, but it’s clear changes are necessary for Kentucky to take the next step.

LSU- A

This year wasn’t perfect, but it’s a massive sign LSU is headed in the right direction.

MSU- A-

Eight wins is an accomplishment in Starkville.

Mizzou- B-

A 6-6 record won’t satisfy Tigers fans long-term, but Eli Drinkwitz’s recruiting success and strong closing argument to reach a bowl game will help calm the complaints of an average season.

Ole Miss- B-

The Rebels ending the year 1-4 with losses to LSU, Alabama, Arkansas and rival Mississippi State leaves a bitter taste.

S. Carolina- B

(The finish) was like acing a very difficult final after a semester full of missed classes and blown pop quizzes. The Gamecocks improved through the season, got to eight wins and have recruiting momentum.

Tennessee- A

This team is way ahead of schedule in Josh Heupel’s second year, giving new life to a program that has been mired in turmoil for most of the past two decades.

Texas A&M- B+

Jimbo's whipping of LSU to finish the year gives hope that competitiveness is just around the corner.

Vandy- B+

No one should have expected five wins with this group.

I kid, I kid.

Of course ATM got an F.

Mizzou’s record this year doesn’t tell the whole story. They played two piss poor games, against Big 12 Champ Kansas State and a 10-win Tennessee team. They captured defeat from the jaws of victory against Auburn, Georgia, Florida, and Kentucky. They lost those four games by a combined 18 points, This team very well could have won 9 or 10 games if they could close, and that was with probably the worst QB in the conference.

Kirby Smart won the SEC in his second year at Georgia. Saban led Alabama to a perfect regular season in his second year. Urban led Florida to the national championship in his second year. Mark Richt led UGA to the SEC championship in his second year.

Richt called this phenomenon “that magical second year.”

We lost 4 games by 9 combined points. KJ also didn’t play in two games and wasn’t healthy for a third. Sam still underachieved with this team.

Nah. SC is very accurate. Abysmal performances against Mizzou and Florida still haunt the team. It was a very up n down year.

Ah yes, that strong closing statement of beating New Mexico State and then Arkansas by 2.

One of these seasons Drink will finish with a winning record.

I don't know why I'm getting downvoted for this.

It's not like the Rebs were cranking out 8+ win seasons before Kiffin got here. Plus, he did it with what is pretty much a brand new roster. Sure, the end of the season stinks, but we aren't too big for our britches where we're suddenly too good for 8-9 win seasons.

If SC beats or Mizzou or Florida then I could see the argument of going to an A-. No shot otherwise.
