At what point in the season is the State grind recognized for what it is?

Which is legitimate insight into one of the SEC's top two teams. I see no reason they shouldn't be able to go into November 9-0 and make a run to represent the West against UGA/FL/Vandy in the Atlanta. There is nothing standing in their way after this weekend.

I just think it's funny that everyone is surprised by the results. When State fans Grind, it's real. We are quiet when we know we suck.

I think it's strange that after only one SEC game, people are already crowning you the runner-up and potentially in line for a championship.
After one conference game. One.
It's a wonder that people even play the games. Why bother, when the season is over by week 3?

I think people honestly thought LSU would be a contender this year and now they have been beat.
Why not enjoy the season and the Grind?
IT hurts you none at all and TCU is out of contention, even before the first week of the season, since you guys are not SEC.

Well everyone on this site is jumping to conclusions. It happens every year. Hell a&m and LSU can beat anyone if they get their shite together and vandy is definitely not amazing. People can't remain calm for a few gd weeks to get the season started. Its all determined already.
We were fortunate in a lot of ways on Saturday. And y'all still haven't beaten anybody but your fans seem to think the same thing the tigers did about us. Its gonna be a brawl.

I am having the same thoughts
I am FAR more worried about the GA Tech game than I am about State
I don't dislike or disrespect them, but I think LSU is poorly coached and that State got a lot of breaks in the game last weekend
No, that does not mean I think they did not deserve to win
But I don't think the final score is a reflection that State is the 2nd coming or that LSU sucks...

Again you keep bragging about that Orange Bowl win like our DC hadn't just left for Florida and Mullen thought it'd be a great opportunity to let Townsend be the DC for his first and only game ever and that our starting RB hadn't tweeted right before kickoff that he was declaring for the draft and already had an agent.
Keep on bragging about that meaningless win though. State's season ended when we choked the playoff spot. We simply gave zero shits about that bowl game at that point.

Whenever state is 9-0, that is when I'll start talking about them being 9-0. They are not beating Auburn though. Guess I'll be talking about other things then.
