Ground breaking development in Louisiana, NFL, refs, Roger Goodell, set be deposed in GET THIS.... LAWSUIT... about the refs’ no-call that potentially cost the Saints a trip to the Super Bowl last year.

The plaintiff was smart, kept damages claim below $75k to keep it out of federal court where it would have been summarily dismissed.

The fact that the suit is going forward, over a non-call for god’s sake, means that potentially LSU fans can just sue in some kangaroo court in Bum Frick Louisiana over calls, non-calls, coulda calls, woulda calls, shoulda calls...calls made 5-10 years ago, SEC office in Birmingham, Steve Shaw, calls that some Boudreaux thinks favor Alabama even if said calls are made in a game against A&M.

Just imagine the law suits in Louisiana...suits over called third strikes, composition of referring crews, type of whistle used, decisions of replay officials...

At last, a solution to LUSers paranoia... no more billboards, just sue sue sue in front of a corn dog jury from Thibodsux or somewhere. Why, let’s go back and sue over 21-0, overturn interceptions a decade ago. Heck sue over the entire result of last season and see if a court will declare LSU national champions because of imaginary bad calls in imaginary games against Georgia and Clemson. It will be glorious for the corn doggies.

Nah, we'll just beat Bama this year and end the discussion.

Is there a sport you don’t betray your hometown in?

Super fan?

Sounds like someone needs to get the proverbial “life.”
Volunteer with people who have real problems.
Make your own home brew.
Go catch a youth sporting event.

Not sure how they justify the damages they seek, but that’s their gig.

You link a story about a no call in the NFL and tie it directly to LSU.

You're obsessed.

When that play happened, I said (not on here, but to my friends irl) that it was a criminal no-call, but I never actually thought that it would go to court.

Unless you think Vietnam was some kind of sporting event, shut the frick up about it, you azzhole. Your comments about Vietnam are BS and have nothing to do with anything. They are only intended to insult and cast aspersions in those who served.

It's a bit hypocritical to allow yourself to hold your Vietnam service as sacred and untouchable yet we can't do the same for our Tigers.

I appreciate and respect your service, but that is out of line.

Dude, you should be happy about this.

If any bug-eyed, Shaw shank, REC-paid, zebra-arse fool tried that shite in Tiger Stadium, you might not get out alive.

Though it'd be tough to convince some drunk arse Cajuns to think about legal remedies in the heat of the moment, but at least now you have something to hope for.

You name it. She's got such the red arse at everything LSU though. It's the only topic she posts on.
