Dannie boy, you need to check Alabama's all-time record without Saban's numbers.

Tattoo joints all across the South might as well create a stencil of the saying. They’re gonna be inking this on a lot of fat in the next few weeks

Mario might be the most complete coach to ever work for CNS.

Given the fact that he never once called a play on offense or defense, I can't go there.

You gotta admit, it sounds a lot more menacing than "thank god, we finally won something after 125 years."

Part of the game is recruiting.

Are recruiting and cheating the same?

Why does he suck as a HC then?

2 PAC12 ships in 4 seasons sucks

I give him no credit for a legitimate conference championship last year. He lost to two shitty teams last year and somehow squeaked into the championship game last year with a 3-2 record. Cal was 1-3. Their only win? Against Cristobal. He also lost to a shitty instate rival Oregon State, whose only other win was, naturally, the other shitty team that Cristobal couldn't beat, Cal.

I wouldn't call Cristobal elite by any stretch of the imagination. One legitimate conference championship in a ten year career doesn't qualify as "elite".

And yeah, going 3-9 in year #6 at a school absolutely sucks.

But playing a season where you already know the outcome outside of maybe 1 or 2 games has to get old. There's no true emotion or excitement anymore.

And you would know this, how ?

I was referring to the job he did at UA. Signed a ton of elite recruits and and the only other one that might have been as good or better on and off the field was Pruitt

Cristobal was an elite recruiter at Alabama, finishing No. 1 in the national 247Sports composite rankings in each of his four seasons.[13] He was named the National Recruiter of the Year by 247Sports in the 2015 cycle and in 2016 he was ranked as the nation's No. 2 recruiter in the country by 247Sports.

Cristobal's Alabama offensive line was awarded as the nation's best in 2015, winning the inaugural Joe Moore Award given to the toughest, most physical line in the nation.[14] His offensive line ranked in the top 25 nationally in sacks allowed in each of his first two seasons. Alabama's offensive lines produced standout players and NFL draft picks under Cristobal, including first-team All-American and 2015 first-round draft pick Ryan Kelly and 2014 freshman All-American Cam Robinson, who went on to win the Outland Trophy in Cristobal's final year with Alabama.

Can't argue with any of that. I certainly would call him an elite recruter and an elite OL coach. But not a complete football coach. If he had been given the opportunity to be a coordinator, he likely would have done well, then perhaps I could say that.

Maybe now he would but 6-7 years ago I doubt it. Very old school and you might have seen a similar version of the 2012 UA offense or 2018 UGA

Thanks for the downvotes, Alabama fans. It certainly hurt my feelings.

Edited for my tarded use of the word, parody.

You're so knowledgeable about football. Anyone ever tell you that?

Bet you have a closet full of Bama tshirts on hangers.

Well one thing you have to admire about Auburn is they make being second or third tier seem like a huge accomplishment
